Job description:

An exciting opportunity to join our boutique corporate communications and public affairs consultancy as an Account Manager, to start in September 2021. This role sits in the corporate communications / reputation management team, the company’s fastest growing section.


We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and approachable team player. You will play an important role in our team, working with an exciting range of high-profile clients from a variety of sectors including property, natural resources and financial services, supporting the delivery of integrated communications campaigns.

This role comes with the opportunity to be involved in a wide range of briefs including:

  • Strategic positioning and corporate profile raising
  • Litigation communications
  • Crisis management and issues led campaigns
  • Consumer PR
  • Political communications and public affairs

Key responsibilities:

  • Managing several client accounts and building strong relationships with clients
  • Utilising your media network and liaising with journalists
  • Handling media enquiries and advising on clients’ stakeholder communications
  • Developing news angles, stories and pitches to enhance clients’ profile and business
  • Drafting press releases, blogs, features and by-lines
  • Pitching for new business and developing PR proposals
  • Managing and mentoring junior members of staff

Key skills:

  • Excellent copywriting and editing skills
  • Strong Russian language skills is a bonus
  • Confident verbal communication internally and externally
  • Flair for creativity and strategic thinking
  • Outstanding organisation with an ability to manage multiple client accounts
  • Strong media awareness and passion for media relations, stakeholder engagement and public affairs
  • Proactive team player who is motivated and will take initiative
  • Keen attention to detail


  • 2 – 3 years’ experience in PR and corporate communications
  • Experience in the property sector is a bonus
  • Industry knowledge and journalist contacts
  • Evidence of copywriting, account management and client liaison skills
  • 2:1 or above from a top university
