Project Manager

In this role, you will oversee and lead the execution of system projects to our customers in Mining, Aluminum and Cement industries worldwide, working together with highly motivated and experienced international team. You will maintain and enhance customer satisfaction by ensuring that customer requirements and all targets are met, providing excellent service at every stage of the project.

Your responsibilities

  • Being accountable for project execution from contact award until the end of warranty period, including site services
  • Achieving project deliverables and compliance with contract requirements
  • Building strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
  • Managing the development of project execution plan
  • Monitoring projects to ensure delivery of agreed project results, applying best practices in planning, cost control, resource efficiency, quality and Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
  • Analyzing and addressing project risks and opportunities, regularly disseminating lessons learned
  • Working with other functions to coordinate contract negotiations, changes and claims with customers and suppliers, developing winning strategies

Your background

  • 3-5 years of experience in the field of Project Management, ideally in mining, Oil & Gas or other heavy industries with a global exposure
  • Demonstrated experience in management of project scope, cost, schedules and vendors/subcontractors
  • Knowledge of common project management processes, tools and techniques
  • A collaborative, solution-focused approach, and strong written and spoken communication skills
  • A degree (FH, university) in the areas of electrical or mechanical engineering, additional degree in economic disciplines is an advantage
  • Fluency in English and German, other languages are of advantage. Fluency in Russian or Spanish is an asset
